'You start off sitting in the class and you observe that class and you then might do some team teaching. You might then take the starter. So, if you do it in a gradual process, that's how I did it, in small increments and you build up. Once I had taught my whole first lesson, I found it easy to go for it and just throw yourself in and start teaching.

The thrill of teaching that first lesson was unmatched!'
