DON’T JUST STAND AT THE SIDE, GET INVOLVED!

Ever found yourself standing at the side of a parade, watching the bands go past and thinking

“I wish I was part of this”?

Well, why not take that next step?

The Loyal Orders are about much more than simply being part of a parade. They are about culture, history, tradition, friendship, community and keeping those traditions alive for the next generation.

Whether it’s the:

🔸️ Apprentice Boys of Derry
🔸️ Orange Order
🔸️ Royal Black Preceptory

There are opportunities to get involved, make new friends and play your own part.

You don’t need to know everything, and you certainly don’t need to be an expert on the history. Everyone has to start somewhere.

Don’t just watch from the sidelines. Take your place amongst those keeping the tradition alive.

If you’re interested in joining any of the Loyal Orders, drop Scottish Loyalists a message and we’ll be happy to put you in touch with the relevant organisation.

Alternatively, check out the three organisations tagged below and contact them directly.

Loyal Orange Institution of Scotland
Apprentice Boys of Derry in Scotland
Provincial Grand Black Chapter of Scotland

Be part of it. Support it. Preserve it. Pass it on.

Don’t just sing about it… wear one!

For generations, the sash has represented more than just a song, it is a symbol of history, heritage, tradition and the values that have been proudly carried forward by those before us.

The friendships, brotherhood and culture we enjoy today continue because people choose to take an active part and help preserve these traditions for future generations.

What a fantastic day for Gartsherrie LOL No. 8 as we proudly paraded the streets of Coatbridge and Wishaw to mark the 336th Anniversary of the Battle of the Boyne.

We were blessed with excellent weather and a tremendous day from start to finish.

A sincere thank you to the visiting Brethren from Baillieston True Blues LOL No. 2 and Bo'ness True Blues LOL No. 46 for joining us, it was greatly appreciated.

A huge thank you also to the Prince Of Orange FB for accompanying us back to Gartsherrie this evening and helping round off a superb day.
