University of Essex Athletics Club This is the public page to provide news and updates from the University of Essex Athletics Club. To If you own a pair of trainers, you’re in.

The University of Essex Athletics Club is open to runners, jumpers and throwers of all abilities; from international athletes and BUCS Champions to those who only run for the bus! We have many training sessions available whether you want to simply get fit, smash your personal bests or smash others in Essex League, London Universities & Colleges Athletics (LUCA), British Universities Championships

(BUCS) for Track & Field and Cross Country Races. Members are welcome to attend as many training sessions as they like or feel they need. Attendance is not recorded but is encouraged as it certainly makes competing easier. With regular socials (alcoholic and non-alcoholic), seminars and volunteering events, there really is something for everyone. University of Essex Team of the Year 2021.
