Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility, and keeping our own knowledge and skills up to date is an essential part of our commitment to safeguarding.

Today, members of the CTTC team attended Level 3 Safeguarding Training, ensuring we remain informed of the latest guidance and best practice.

As a teacher training provider, we recognise the importance of leading by example and continuing our own professional development, so that we can effectively support our trainees, colleagues and partnership schools.

In recognition of World Teachers’ Day, we’d like to take this opportunity to thank all our trainees, mentors and colleagues for the amazing work they do every day.

To mark the occasion, and to support our trainees as they take on the important and rewarding role of becoming a teacher, CTTC has gifted each trainee a copy of a book focused on teacher wellbeing, written by one of our fantastic mentors, Michelle Auton.

A small gift to remind our trainees that looking after their own wellbeing matters too. 💙

Creative reading from our Primary trainees

As part of their pre-course tasks, our Primary trainees were asked to select a high-quality text appropriate to the key stage they will be teaching and use their creativity to produce an imaginative book review.

We loved seeing the different ways they approached the task! Here are just a few examples of the fantastic work they produced before even beginning their teacher training journey with CTTC.
