Bowzo violin bowing aid for beginners

Bowzo violin bowing aid for beginners bowZo - the revolutionary bowing aid which helps you learn how to play the violin and small viola.

BowZo has revolutionised the way to play the violin and small viola. This easy to fit practice aid for beginners is placed over the bridge and fingerboard of the instrument.A slot in the polymer tube guides the bow so that the beginner can play at 90 degrees to the strings, eliminating the sawing sound so common when trying to learn to play. Repeated use induces "muscle memory", so that the beginner can quickly enjoy learning how to produce a sweeter tone on the violin strings.

The bowZo was developed as the result of a meeting in 2004 between a professional violinist and a Rolls Royce engineer. With Design support from Coventry University, the product was launched in 2006 at the British Music Fair. It has since sold in 15 countries, with particular interest coming from the US (where it is being used in a a number of class situations), Australia, Korea and Germany. Suitable for sale to individual violin or viola beginners, or in bulk to music teachers.
