This research group has been set up by the Department of Psychology at the University of Warwick to help study children’s language, communication, and social skills across development.

Hello families, I am looking for 4 more English-speaking 5-year-olds (already 5 but not yet 6) to take part in my language development study at the University of Warwick! The study is closing and will be running for one final week, until Sunday 30 November. If you and your child have time and interest in helping a short and fun laptop-based pointing study, and would like to take home a junior scientist certificate, please feel free to contact me at [email protected] .

Warwick Research with Kids is coming to the Birmingham Thinktank on May 28th and 29th! We’ll be running a short, fun language study for 3- and 5-year-olds—it’s a great chance for your little ones to take part in an engaging activity while helping us learn more about how children develop language!

Find us in Curie’s Classroom on Level 1, between 10:00 and 16:00. Children who take part will receive a sticker and their very own “Junior Scientist” certificate, and families may also get other Warks goods to take home! 🦉We’d love to meet you there during your visit!

Hi everyone! We’re still looking for families with 3-year-olds and 5-year-olds to take part in a language study at the University of Warwick as part of my PhD research. The study involves a short and playful session where your child watches some videos and makes simple choices based on what they hear. It takes around 30 minutes, and parents stay with their child throughout. A big thank you to everyone who’s already supported the project — I’m still looking for quite a few more families to complete this phase and would be so grateful for any support.
