The Faculty of Engineering, Environment and Computing is situated in the birthplace of the British motor industry and the historical heart of UK manufacturing. The Faculty is comprised of three Schools:

- School of Computing, Electronics and Maths
- School of Mechanical, Aerospace and Automotive Engineering
- School of Energy, Construction and Environment

The Faculty’s Employability and Placement team, EC Futures, are the proud winners of the Best University Placement Service (UK 2015) presented by the NUE Awards. EC Futures provide our students with support to secure employability and placement opportunities by offering careers and application advice, as well as organising employer careers fairs and mock-assessment centres. We embrace different teaching and activity-led learning approaches from our diverse range of courses from Aerospace to Geography; Ethical hacking to Motorsport Engineering and much more. Our students engage practical application of theory and experiences through problem-scenarios, case studies and projects. Wherever possible, this activity is sourced from industry and is designed to motivate our students by creating real-world challenges that are industry relevant.

We are proud to announce that we're supporting Team Coventry as they prepare for the 2026 International Children’s Games in Hualien, Taiwan! 🇹🇼

As the only UK city represented at the Games, our young athletes (ages 12–15) are getting a head start with elite sports science support from our Sport and Exercise Science students and experts. From fitness assessments to tailored training advice, we’re helping them prepare just like the pros.

This partnership isn’t just about winning medals—it’s about giving our students vital hands-on experience and inspiring local talent to reach their full potential.
