What does postgraduate study look like when you can take what you learn and apply it directly to your professional practice?

In this video, Julie McClellan, a recent graduate of Warwick’s CEIGHE postgraduate diploma and now a Career Development Consultant at the University of Glasgow, reflects on her experience of the course.

From developing a stronger understanding of career development theory to applying research and evidence in her day-to-day practice, Julie shares how the course helped her become a more reflective and confident practitioner.

She also talks about the value of learning alongside peers, working closely with tutors, and building a professional network that continues beyond graduation.

Hear from Dr Gill Frigerio, as she introduces Career, Vocation and Calling, a module exploring the concepts of calling and vocation, and how these ideas can support practitioners in working with clients to reflect on their values, goals and sources of meaning in their working lives.

The module forms part of our programmes in Career Development and Coaching, offering an opportunity to explore both the theory and practice of working with these concepts.
