Dr Modupe Jimoh attended a Royal Garden Party at Buckingham Palace on Friday 8th May following the announcement that she had been nominated by the Department for Education to attend in recognition of her outstanding contribution to education and/or children’s social care.
Modupe said of the event:

Attendees were free to stroll around the grounds of the garden while enjoying music performed by the Royal band. Overall, it was a lovely and memorable event."
On a previous occasion Modupe had attended the palace as part of the Association of Commonwealth Universities' Centenary Conference, hosted by Queen Elizabeth II, in October 2013 as a PhD Commonwealth Scholar at the University of Warwick.
