The School’s research follows many tracks, emphasising historical, international, comparative, theoretical and cross-cultural approaches. Its contextual approach encompasses criminal, commercial, corporate, environmental and human rights law. Our research underpins how we teach, leading to distinctive research-led modules at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. She is collaborating with our Centre for Global Health Law as a COI on the Advancing health data justice: A comparative study of health-related data governance in Canada, Germany and the UK project (ADIJUST). Her appointment at Warwick Law School will enrich our research community and deepen our engagement with some of the defining legal challenges of our time.

Congratulations to Sergeant Jonathan Benjamin of West Midlands Police, who has been awarded a Warwick Policy Hub Fellowship.

Jonathan has been working with Professor Jackie Hodgson, Dr Rachel Lewis and Dr Ruth Bernatek on research and impact activity using innovative arts-led approaches to challenge racist attitudes and behaviours within policing. As an in-residence Policy Fellow, Jonathan will be able to further this engagement, including with the Centre for Operational Police Research, COPR.
