⚠️ Trigger Warning: Sexual violence, abuse ⚠️
I’ve been sitting with something deeply unsettling that’s recently come to light, reports about an online space allegedly dedicated to promoting and normalising sexual violence. Even just typing that feels surreal and horrifying.
For so long, many of us have taken precautions like covering our drinks, watching out for each other on nights out, and staying alert in public spaces. But what’s especially disturbing here is the reminder that danger isn’t always from strangers, sometimes it can come from people we know, trust, or even love.
It’s a harsh reflection of how much the world has shifted, and how vigilance now extends into places that should feel safe.
On this page, I talk a lot about self-defense, awareness, and empowerment, and that conversation matters more than ever. Not because fear should control us, but because knowledge and preparedness can help protect us and others.
I’m honestly horrified by this, and my heart goes out to anyone affected by violence or abuse. Please look out for each other, trust your instincts, and don’t hesitate to reach out for support if you need it.
We deserve safety — everywhere.
