For many of our delegates, booking onto the Basic Safety Training (BST) week isn’t just another training course - it’s the first milestone in a new career or even the very first step for those who've not long left school.⁣
⁣
Stepping into a maritime or offshore environment can feel completely unfamiliar. Our primary mission is to get everyone up to the rigorous safety standards required by the industry, ensuring every candidate leaves qualified, capable, and ready for the realities of the job.⁣
⁣
Equally important to us is building confidence. We strive to mentor and inspire every individual who visits us, creating a supportive space where people can push their boundaries safely and realise what they are truly capable of.⁣
⁣
Reviews like this remind us why we love doing what we do.⁣
⁣
A huge thank you to this student for the kind words, and hats off to our instructional team for bringing the care, patience, and professional standards that make all the difference.⁣

Reflecting on a recent STCW Basic Safety Training (BST) cohort completing the Fire Prevention & Fire Fighting (FPFF) practical modules at our dedicated Fire Training Ground.

Under the guidance of our fire instruction team, candidates engaged directly with live burns, observed neutral plane and ventilation dynamics first hand, and built confidence in nozzle control and thermal management.

Well done to all candidates from this cohort for their professionalism and teamwork throughout their full 5-day programme.
