A reminder that our Give it a Go is This Sunday at 6pm on Teams 🤩 we’ll be discussing what we read over lockdown, going more in depth with October’s theme and a bookish quiz with PRIZES 😍

We have:

Obviously it’s sad we can’t meet up in person, however we have lots of activities planned for our Microsoft Teams meet! Including a quiz with PRIZES!!

We have created a Microsoft Team and all we need for you to join us is your name and student email, feel free to send it to our dm box (or email [email protected]) and we’ll add you to the team ###

We’ll also have a sign up sheet ready at Freshers Fair where you can leave the same details so we can add you to the team ourselves.

For those of you who are wanting to pay for membership but are unsure how, follow the link below and and click ‘Join this Society’ on the right hand side.

Membership is only £5 for the year plus the £7 Union society pass!

Paid membership enters you into our blind book competition which we’ll give you more info about at our social this Monday:)

Book Club was a brand new society at University of Derby in 2018. We have even more exciting books, meetings and events planned for 2019 and are always open to suggestions!

Tomorrow is our first meeting of the year!

It’s at Revolution de Cuba at 1pm. We’ll be picking this month’s book so it would be great to hear recommendations from others! Our October theme is Fantasy.

We also have our first social on Monday (7th October) at Revolution at 7pm. Come along to meet the committee and other members and grab some drinks with your new Revs Society cards:)

There is no commitment or membership necessary to attend these events! It’s just a great opportunity to give you a feel of what to expect from the club this year!
