Friday's always a time to celebrate, and last Friday was no exception...

During the preview of Masters Show, we held our postgraduate prizegiving, with 21 awards up for grabs! Some prizes were awarded to multiple students (and some students won multiple prizes!)🏅

Congratulations to everyone, prize winner or not - your work is incredible!👏

A huge thank you to the many staff and external stakeholders involved in selecting and supporting these awards.🏆️

And if you've not seen our students' work yet, there's only THREE days left to take in the best new art and design talent around and give our incredible Masters students the send off they deserve! ✨️

Many pieces are for sale — just chat to the students in their studios or pick up a business card to get in touch! 🫶

This year, we also have a dedicated show for MSc Animation & VFX too - find it alongside their work on Matthew Level 5 (North)✨

Browse a range of prints, stickers, keyrings and handmade trinkets - and meet Toasty, a rather hapless creature that gives out not-so-helpful health & safety advice! 🔥

Don't hang around - with many unique pieces, once they're gone, they're gone.

Pamela Atan, MFA Curatorial Practice, snapped this colourful canid lounging on top of the Crawford Building yesterday morning - getting ready to explore Masters Show, no doubt! 🐾

Masters Show just got a Mediterranean twist! 🫒

This year, for the first half of the show, we’ve teamed up with Loaded Patatakia to bring a little taste of Greece to our graduates - and everyone else visiting Masters Show!😋

Expect homemade lemonade and authentic Greek flavours, from pittas, souvlaki and tzatziki to some seriously delicious loaded fries. 🍋

However, tomorrow is their final day, and YOUR last chance to add some amazing Aegean flavour to your art and design!

Forecast for Wednesday is looking good, so come down, grab a bite and say hi!☀️

Running alongside Masters Show 2026 is a new PhD pop-up, showcasing work from our practice-based PhD students. 🙌

Each with a unique, fascinating practice, this is an opportunity to see how diverse the PhD programme really is and where it can lead you.

Find the PhD pop-up on Level 6 of the Crawford Building - chequerboard floor, incredible views... you know the one! 😅

PLUS - on Tuesday, six lightning talks from current PhD students will give an insight into the wide variety of PhD topics across the Faculty of Arts & Social Sciences .

Since Friday evening, we’ve already welcomed nearly 1000 visitors, and there's still a whole week to go! 🤩

Over the next seven days, come and see everything Masters Show has to offer - with events, performances, delicious food and drink from Loaded Patatakia and the chance to purchase or commission something truly special, it really has something for everyone.👍️

Masters Show 2026 is open 10:00 - 16:00 ever day until Sunday 30 August, with an extended late opening on Saturday 29 August May, so no-one misses out!
