We had an amazing litterpick in collaboration with the Durham Hedgehog Friendly Campus Society this Sunday. We walked along the river and gathered masses of litter! Thanks so much to everyone who came along and supported us.

Hi PEAs!
Our next talk will be happening on the 16th of February and be with Jo Hale from UCL!

Jo is a Senior Research Associate at the UCL Centre for Behaviour change, and she'll be talking to us about the three factors that influence behaviour: capability, opportunity and motivation, and introduce us to the COM-B model of behaviour.

Thank you so much to everyone who came to our incredible PEA Talk on Wednesday. It was truly a fascinating discussion and our audience (you guys!) had some amazing questions and engagement for Dr Allison Leach. It was truly an inspiring evening.

But don't worry we aren't just saying this to brag, those of you who were unable to make it can now watch the recording on the PEAs YouTube Channel! It is premiering at the moment and is available for anyone to watch, so please feel free to share it if you think it might be of interest to anyone you know.

Hope that we will see you again at the next PEA Talks in February. Tickets are available from our Eventbrite page.

Happy New Year everyone! Here's hoping this year will be greener than ever!

With that in mind, we're kicking off our PEA talks for 2022 on the 19th of January at 16:00 with a talk from Allison Leach entitled "Food labels: The Carbon Footprint".

Alley’s research explores how changes in human consumption patterns impact nitrogen pollution by developing nitrogen footprint models. She led the development of nitrogen footprint tools for individual consumers in over a dozen countries, and she currently manages research and development for an integrated tool for campuses to calculate their carbon and nitrogen footprint together (unhsimap.org).
