Then we heard from Year 10 Durham Johnston students Esme and Louis about their project looking into Young People and Health Inequalities in the NE as part of their week of work experience with us.
Thanks to .r.88 supporting student social work research, and .r.88 for hosting an excellent week of work experience. 🌞

Marginalised Youth: Power, Precarity and Possibilities. Our Communities and Social Justice research group in conjunction with the Journal of Youth Studies brought together critical youth studies researchers to focus on questions of youth and marginalisation. Delegates considered diverse dimensions, forms and spaces of marginalisation. We also explored the potential impact and power of youth studies to shape debates, agendas and policy.
