Introducing...'Word Sharing!' For UN International World Book Day (23rd April) VMLibrary is launching a multifaceted campaign entitled ‘Word Sharing’.Our campaign is centred on the idea of sharing and making known authors, writers and wordsmiths who you feel have something interesting to say and have made an impact in the world through their words.

So, bearing that in mind, tell us an author/poet/lyricist/musician/philosopher/novelist who has impacted you or the wider world. We will use your suggestions in art for our campaign! Comment below or drop us an email at [email protected]

This is just to say that VM Library will be hosting a session on 'Time Management', conducted by Mr Naill Oddy. It's happening this Wednesday in the library at 1.30 pm, and should be about 90 minutes long.

Hi all! Tonight is the second meeting of the Book Club. We will be discussing Regeneration by Pat Barker. We have been giving out free copies of it all term in the VM Library. If you have read it and feel like discussing Regeneration along with some additional poems by the likes of Wilfred Owen, then please do pop along to the SCR Prowse Room at 7pm. All welcome!

As we run into Christmas, please remember that normal library lending rules still apply over the Christmas Holidays. If you have checked out books they may still be recalled and run overdue. Be vigilant this Christmas and return all books you won't need and remember to always renew them!

Don't forget our 'Relax and Unwind: Colouring in the Library' session happening today at 3! We will be giving away FREE adult colouring books to the first 20 people through our doors, and will have plenty of colouring sheets for everyone else! We promise this event will be a great way to unwind this Induction Week!
