Universities Lodge was founded in 1890 for Masons with a University education (any University -- not just Durham). Today, it is a member of the 'University Lodges Scheme' (an initiative of Grand Lodge), and has seen a large number of undergraduates and postgraduates join.

Great to see the Norman Jackson Bequest to Universities Lodge 2352 having an impact on local communities!

Dragons representing Durham Freemasons Charity visited Team 105 Kings Trust Stockton-on-Tees, (formally Stockton Prince's Trust Team) as part of the Norman Jackson Bequest to Universities Lodge 2352.

The group gave a great presentation on their proposal to refurbish some areas within Elm Tree Community Centre and were allocated up to £607 to support the project.

Pictured with the group is Ian Tranter, Charity Steward of Tees Lodge 509.

The Dragons are looking forward to seeing the results of the Team 105’s work and also to their end of course presentation.

Many congratulations Team !

Many congratulations to Durham University who have won this year's University Challenge, overcoming Bristol in the final. The team were victorious with a score of 155, compared to Bristol who ended the evening scoring 120.
