Hello everyone! Most of you have probably seen my post about the new v**e tax coming into place. If you haven’t seen the post, I have copied and pasted it to the end of this post so you can have a read 🙂
If anyone would like to stock up on anything in larger quantities, I can certainly do this. If you pre-pay, I can get in as much as you like. Please pop me a message and let me know if this is something you would like me to do as I’m a tad worried I’m going to have an influx of people panic buying like the Covid toilet roll and hand sinister situation all over again 🤣🤣

Hi everyone. I hate to write this, but it’s my job to keep everyone informed.
I’m sure many of you have heard about the new v**e tax starting from October 1st 2026. This means you will now be taxed 0.22p per every millilitre of e-liquid on top of the current prices. So for example, every 10ml bottle of liquid will have an extra £2.20 added on top of its original price. The tax will apply to 10ml bottles, pre-filled v**e kits and also pre-filled replacement pods.
The reason that the new v**e tax is being introduced is to apparently reduce the number of young people using v**es. In my opinion it would of just been easier to go to the shops that actually sell these products to children but hey ho, you all know my opinion on this 🤣
The new v**e tax is also suppose to help ensure that no counterfeit products enter the va**ng market as a legal tax stamp will help you know that the products are genuine and compliant. I’m not sure if the government has ever heard of black market stock but again, hey ho 😂
Now, there will be a 6 months grace period for shops like myself to still sell pre-tax liquids. As long as the stock was originally bought before October 1st and does not have the new stamp on the packaging, they can still be sold at the pre-tax price up until March the 31st 2027. This means that over the next 6 months there will more than likely be both pre-tax and new tax products in store.
“Will va**ng still be cheaper than ci******es after the v**e tax?” Is a question that I’ve heard a lot lately. And the answer is yes. Even though the tax is increasing the price of liquids, they will still be cheaper than ci******es with the government focusing on keeping the cost of ci******es higher.
If anyone has any questions just let me know and I’ll do my best to help you out 🙂
