Easter vacation opening hours will operate from Saturday 17 March to Sunday 22 April 2018. Open Monday - Friday 09:00 - 17:00, Saturdays 09:00 - 13:00. Closed on Sundays and during the Easter weekend (Friday 30 March - Monday 2 April 2018).

🌟The Stephen Mills Postgraduate Studentships🌟

The Department of Earth Sciences, is pleased to announce two (2) MSc by Research awards intended to benefit students undertaking research in the Earth or Natural Sciences. These awards are kindly funded by a bequest from Stephen Mills an alumnus of the department. These two awards will provide for UK/EU tuition fees only (£4,195) and one of the awards is for Durham alumni only.

In recognition of International Women’s Day on 8th March, staff from the PVC Colleges & Student Experience Office are working in partnership with staff and students across the University in organising a Tampon & Towel Donation Drive for homeless and vulnerable women in the North East.

The Department is taking part in the drive and you can donate items into the collection box outside reception on Level 2.
