Huge congratulations again Bee 💚

This , we're celebrating a fantastic achievement for Bee, who has officially passed her veterinary nursing exams and received her greens! 🎉👏

Bee joined Bay Vet Group in January 2021 having previously studied at Aberystwyth University, earning a BSc (Hons) in Zoology, and has been a valued member of our team ever since.

With a real passion for inpatient care and a love of learning new skills, Bee is always striving to provide the very best care for our patients. Her dedication, hard work, and commitment have all paid off, and we're incredibly proud to see her achieve this important milestone in her veterinary nursing career. She now awaits registration with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons.

When she's not at work, Bee stays busy caring for her three guinea pigs, spending time with her horses, and getting lost in a good book. 📚🐹🐴

Huge Congratulations India!! 💚

As Practice Manager, this is a very proud day for me and for all the team. Our lovely India, has passed her Veterinary Nursing Exam and has qualified as a Registered Veterinary Nurse. It’s been a long haul, with some highs and major lows. There’s been tears and tantrums but she has done it. Fantastic coaching from our Head RVN, Shane and supported throughout by the whole team. We never doubted you for a second Inds 🥰

Thank you MiLab Diagnostics for giving us this biochemistry & electrolyte machine to aid our teaching and assessment of laboratory equipment for both the Vet Care Support and Veterinary Nursing Diploma students.

Our students have been getting hands-on experience using a MiLab blood machine, kindly loaned to the college, giving them the opportunity to develop practical skills and explore the technology used in the industry.

VETERINARY NURSING LECTURER VACANCY
This role is a fixed-term maternity cover position for one year.

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced professional to join our dynamic veterinary nursing teaching team. This role involves delivering high-quality teaching and learning in accordance with awarding organisation standards. Flexibility is required, as the position may include teaching sessions during evenings and weekends, as needed.

Skills & Experience
The ideal candidate must be a Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) or Veterinary Surgeon.
Desirable qualifications include a nationally approved Stage 3 teaching qualification (such as Cert Ed, PGCE, CTLLS, DTLLS, or equivalent), or progress towards obtaining one.
A degree in a Veterinary Nursing-related subject is also preferred, along with experience as an Assessor and/or Verifier for work-related and other vocational courses. Additionally, qualifications in adult literacy and/or numeracy subject support would be advantageous.
