Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager / Working Foreman to lead and oversee construction projects from start to finish. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing site teams, coordinating subcontractors, and ensuring that projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. The work is in the Building and Utilities sector.
Key Responsibilities:
🟢 Supervise and coordinate all on-site activities
🟢 Manage site operatives, subcontractors, and suppliers
🟢 Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and company policies
🟢 Liaise with clients, engineers, and senior management regarding project progress
🟢 Oversee quality control and ensure work is carried out to specification
🟢 Prepare and maintain site records, reports, and schedules
🟢 Monitor costs and assist in ensuring projects remain within budget
🟢 Motivate and lead site teams to achieve project milestones
Essential Requirements:
🟢 Proven experience as a Foreman, Site Manager, or Project Manager in construction
🟢 Strong leadership and communication skills
🟢 Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
🟢 Solid understanding of health & safety requirements
🟢 Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills
🟢 Full driving licence and willingness to travel to sites across NI & ROI
🟢 Safepass and relevant site management qualifications desirable
