Prepare to trust no-one!

Hide and Seek are collaborating with Game Soc to run a Blood on the Clocktower social!

Join us on Friday 16th October from 5:30 - 9:30pm.

We will be using forum seminar rooms 4, 5 and 6 but will initially meet in one of them to divide into smaller groups. So if arriving on time head into the room that has the largest congregation of people in and also the HandS flag (likely room 4, but not definitely).

Blood on the Clocktower is a social deduction game, where you will be given a role and have to work together to discover who the evils are before they kill all of town! It is similar to Werewolf/Mafia style games. For this event we will predominantly be playing the Trouble Brewing Script (which is basically the beginner friendly version of the game).

👻🎃 Spooky Season Approaches 🎃👻

To mark this time of year, we are collabing with Just Dance Society to run a Bowling Social.

It will take place at Tenpin Bowling (the other side of the river to Quay), on Tuesday 20th October 7 - 9pm.

Tickets will be around £9 per person.

We will then release the actual tickets to the event. Filling in this form will not guarantee your place, you will also need to buy a ticket to the event!

Since it is Halloween season, fun costumes are heartily encouraged!

Think that your hiding skills could rival those of Mr Where's Wally?

Then come along to our Hide and Seek event on Saturday 10th October (next Saturday).

We will meet in the Forum at 2:30pm, and then move around campus for a mixture of indoor and outdoor rounds (weather dependent).

The event is expected to finish at 4:30, but you are welcome to leave at the end of any round.

Do you want more Big Parachute Action?

Then come along to our Outdoor Social on Sunday (4th Oct) between 1 and 3:30pm!
Taking place in the Valley, the grassy area between East Park and the Sports Park.

If there is torrential rain or similarly terrible weather, we will announce an alternate indoor location.

Hide and Seek Freshers' Fair 2026!

Events on this week:

Tuesday 15th
We will be at our Freshers' stall in the Great Hall from 10 - 4. Come meet some of the committee and find out more about the society.

Wednesday 16th
We will be at a stall in the forum from 12 - 3. Come meet some of the committee and find out more about the society.

Either Wednesday or Thursday (still waiting for booking to confirm)
Indoor social! 7 - 9pm somewhere (also waiting for booking to confirm this). Come along to play some fun games with us!

Friday 18th
Outdoor social. 12 - 3pm in the Valley (a grassy area near east park. There will be directions from forum on our Insta story and also 2 members of committee will be leaving from forum at 11:50). Come along to play our outdoor specific games.

Saturday 19th
Hide and Seek! 2 - 4:30pm, meeting in the forum with updates on location when we move.

Sunday 20th
Taskmaster! 11 - 2pm in Expo lab 2 (second level of the forum). Come along to take part in some wild and wacky tasks.

Tuesday 22nd
Scavenger hunt. 7 - 9pm. Meet in the Forum. Work together in teams to find the hidden clues!

You found us!

We are Exeter's Hide and Seek Society (often abbreviated to HandS society)

We host a wide array of events, including weekly socials where we play a variety of childhood/drama style games.

Most of our events are free, and you don't have to have a membership to come along (although getting a membership does entitle you to a FREE Where's Wally hat!)

Events that we run throughout the year include Taskmaster, Mafia, Zombies, Assassins and, of course, Hide and Seek. As well as more social events such as Halloween bowling, pub quizzes and end of term balls.

Our core values are joy and whimsy, and we hope to foster a fun and inclusive environment.
