Term 3 celebrations are well underway for many of you, so we just wanted to share this reminder to look after yourself and your mates 🫶

Whether you’re heading on a night out, taking a trip to the beach to enjoy this glorious weather (maybe not today ☔) or you’re making the most of your last couple weeks in Exeter with your friends - staying safe matters.

If something doesn’t feel right, trust your instincts and ask for help. If you’ve experienced or witnessed any unsafe, unwanted or inappropriate behaviour, you can and should report it through the University’s Support and Report system if you feel comfortable to do so.

Campus really blooms at this time of year! 🌸

This is an appreciation post for who look after all of the lush green spaces we have on our campuses 🌿

At this time of year when it’s particularly stressful with deadlines and exam revision, it’s even more important to find time to take a break! Take time to explore some of the calming nature spaces we have on our campuses, including:

🪴 Community Gardens
🌲 Queens Arboretum
🌿 Magnolia Lawn (by the Business School)
🟩 The Quad

Periods shouldn’t cost you your education! 🩸

Since our Menstrual Health Survey closed in March, we’ve been busy looking through everyone’s responses and using this data to inform the next steps of our work. This isn’t the end of this project, but we wanted to share an update to keep you informed on what’s happening behind the scenes.

From recommendations for policy changes, to improving access and understanding - we want it to be easier for students to access the support they need. It’s all about confidence, dignity and equal opportunities!

The work doesn’t stop here. Please get in touch with Rose if you have any ideas for what else you would like to see happening 🤩
