Retail - Coaching - Junior Academy This page will highlight the golfing activities of Professional Golfer Bobby Rushford.

Specialising in Junior Coaching, Bobby run's weekly classes for all level of Junior Golfer at Glenbervie Golf Club. Bobby's coaching philosophy centre's on creating young golfing athlete's. Session's focus on physical development aswell as golfing skills. Bobby coaches all level of adult golfer in both a group setting and private one to one lessons. If you would like to improve your handicap then why not get in contact? Bobby is also the Assistant Golf Coach at the University of Stirling. In this role Bobby leads the coaching of the 2nd Tier Performance Programme as well as working alongside Head Coach Dean Robertson to help some of Scotland's top amateur golfers. ✅New Winter League✅

The Race to Dumbarnie and for the Derek Letham Trophies

This year we will integrate the club winter league and the Pro Shop sweeps to create a new re-branded competition.

Open to all members

More details will follow shortly but the main points are details below -

✅ Running from the beginning of November to the end of March

✅ Overall O.O.M and weekly stable-ford competitions (play can be throughout the week as per previous years)

✅ £10 initial sign up which goes directly to the Race to Dumbarnie O.O.M. There will be 3 places up for grabs for accompany me to Dumbarnie GC. Winner of the scratch O.O.M, winner of Div 1 O.O.M and winner of Div 2 O.O.M.

✅ £3 per week for weekly Stable-ford competition. This will be paid out weekly as Pro Shop credit.

✅ Overall winners of O.O.M (Handicap Div 1 and Div 2) will win the Derek Letham Trophies.

✅ O.O.M points will be awarded rather than stable-ford points being used for this. The player who wins each weekly stable-ford will receive 15 points, down to 1 point for 15th place. Each players top 10 scores will count towards the O.O.M

✅ There will be 4 majors contested throughout the period (in the last week of November, January, February and March) which will all carry x1.5 points). The Majors will be exciting different formats to keep you all on your toes.

Quiz Night

Last night seen the return of our monthly winter quiz at Falkirk Golf Club

Thanks to all the teams who came along and took part, and a huge thanks to McEwan's Family Bakers for providing the half time pies.

Well done to team '80% Club' who took the title last night. It was their first victory after a series of 2nd place finishes. It was made all the more surprising due to missing their inspirational captain Stuart Fleming
