A freestyled Kit Rucksack for Carryology

Custom commissions are too big to take on at the moment, so instead this one was given free rein to come out in any direction.

Centred on a piece of snowy Harris Tweed, this pack was designed as it was built from workshop oddments of 100D CORDURA® ADVANCED FABRICS , 18oz Halley Stevensons Ltd | Fabric Innovation waxed canvas twill, and Baker’s Tannery Colyton oak bark tanned shoulder

The shoulder straps were entirely removed and remade during this build - the second time a little larger and reinforced with a sturdy cotton binding

I get weekly messages about custom rucksack commissions and I’m sorry they’re not viable at the moment. BUT I’ll continue to design + build one-off oddments pieces like this in the background of Francli’s main ventures. I seem to manage about 1 every 6 months.

September notes, with more good stuff to come

The workshop’s been in a focused calm this September. Taking a slower pace to work on this small, limited collection in the break before the bigger Autumn production begins.

Tall Totes and Ditty Bags inspired by a discovery of dead stock heavy 18oz Taupe canvas twill. With hand finished leather - both oak bark tanned Black and regeneratively farmed Chestnut. Rich, cold colours in substantial materials to carry us through the coming months.

Also featuring a small batch of midnight Black and heritage brass rope lanyards for lightweight utility.

The best of British materials, constructed by us in Cornwall.
