⚽🏆 Desmond’s Cup 🏆⚽

Our Year 8-10 had a fantastic day at the Desmond Cup today, showing great determination, teamwork and spirit throughout the tournament 👏.

The girls opened the group stages with a hard-fought draw against Drumragh IC🤝 before recording an impressive win over St. Mary’s ✅⚽. A defeat to Devenish College meant qualification for the semi-finals would come down to their final group game against Omagh Academy.

In a must-win match, the girls produced one of their performances of the day to secure a brilliant 3–1 victory and book their place in the semi-finals 🔥.

In the last four, we faced the other Devenish College team in a very tight contest. Despite a spirited performance, Devenish edged the game 1–0. They then went on to win the entire competition 🏆👏.

Overall, it was a fantastic day out and a brilliant way for the girls to finish their final tournament of the year 🌟⚽. The players represented the school superbly with their effort, attitude and sportsmanship throughout.

Well done to all involved! 👏🙌
