Alongside our new website, we've introduced MATRICS, a platform designed to help cadets, training officers, sponsoring companies and colleges stay better connected throughout training.

MATRICS makes it easier to access important information, improves visibility across the training journey and supports more regular interaction between cadets and training officers.

It's part of our ongoing commitment to improving the training experience and supporting future Merchant Navy officers every step of the way.

Watch the short film below to see how MATRICS fits into the next chapter of Clyde Marine Training.

From navigating oceans to guiding some of the world's biggest ships safely into port, the maritime industry is full of opportunities you may never have considered.

This BBC feature shines a light on marine pilotage, just one of the many fascinating careers that keep global trade moving.

Whatever your interests, there could be a maritime career to match.

A pilot explains how she helps to guide ships more than 50m (164ft) in length, often in rough seas.

🙌 What a great day at Fleetwood Nautical Campus Maritime Careers Open Day!

We met lots of aspiring seafarers, answered questions about officer cadetships, and shared what it's really like to build a career in the maritime industry.

Whether attendees were just starting to explore their options or already set on a future at sea, it was brilliant to see so much interest and enthusiasm throughout the day.

Thanks to Fleetwood Nautical Campus for hosting us, and thanks to everyone who stopped by for a chat. We hope we've helped you take the next step towards an exciting maritime career.
