Most therapists never get inside an anatomy lab. And textbooks are a long way from the real thing — a sciatic nerve as thick as your finger, fascia that doesn’t stop where the diagram says it does, a meniscus you can actually hold in your hand.

The specimens are prosected — prepared in advance by the anatomy team — so you spend the entire day learning rather than dissecting. No prior lab experience needed. Most people walking in are doing it for the first time.

Across the day you’ll work through the full upper and lower limb, spinal column, thorax and viscera, and the nerves of both extremities, with lab technicians guiding each group.

Leading the day: Mike Grice, Sports Therapist, clinical anatomist and university lecturer, joined in Dundee by Senthil Kumar, Consultant Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Surgeon at NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde.

Ideal for sports massage and soft tissue therapists, sports therapists, physios, manual therapists, Pilates and yoga teachers, PTs and S&C coaches.

Facial Massage £165
Next date-Tuesday the 10th of November.

Today was all about expanding our facial massage skills.

We explored a range of advanced facial massage techniques and used gua sha stones, facial cups, and jade rollers. These beautiful tools provide smooth, cooling, and gentle pressure, enhancing tactile sensory stimulation while promoting deep relaxation that leaves clients feeling safe, nurtured, and held.

What made today even more special was that every student in the class was a graduate of our school. Seeing our graduates return to continue their education with us is the greatest compliment, to know they trust us to be part of their ongoing professional journey is something we’re incredibly grateful for.

Level 3 Diploma in Therapeutic Massage.

✨ What an incredible start to our newest cohort of trainee massage therapists! ✨

This weekend, we welcomed the students who will be qualifying next April, and it was fantastic to begin their journey together.

Our first weekend was all about getting to know one another, building a supportive learning environment, and providing a clear overview of the course ahead. We explored the foundations of evidence-informed massage therapy, including:

• Understanding pain
• Building strong therapeutic alliances with clients
• Client-centred care and effective signposting
• Understanding the biopsychosocial framework in relation to injury, pain and illness
• Keeping ourselves safe in practice, including considerations for lone working
• The evidence behind massage therapy, while dispelling some common myths
• An introduction to the core massage techniques that students will continue to develop throughout the course

This programme runs one weekend each month, with an out of class period dedicated to completing clinic hours, case studies, and in-depth study of anatomy, physiology and pathology, allowing students to integrate their learning into real clinical practice.

It was a brilliant first weekend filled with enthusiasm, curiosity and plenty of learning, and we can’t wait to watch this group grow into confident, skilled therapists over the coming months.
