🌱 Calling all Strathclyde students interested in climate adaptation! 🌧️

Our Raingarden Sandbox is a chance to explore how nature-based solutions can help us adapt to a changing climate using the University’s raingarden parklet as a real-world living laboratory.

Join students, staff and industry partners for an interactive session to explore ideas for student research, projects and collaboration around climate adaptation and sustainable place-making on campus. 🌿

Curious about how your ideas could become a real project? Come along, get involved and help shape what happens next!

In March, we celebrated Sustainability Week 2026 🌍💚

Throughout the week, students, staff, and partners came together through events, workshops and discussions to explore sustainability in action across the University!

During the Sustainability Symposium we heard from keynote speaker , with an inspiring talk around active citizenship, sustainability, and creating positive change ♻️

A massive thank you to everyone who attended, and those who worked to make the week such a success!👏

Our move-out project is back for 2026! Don’t throw away your unwanted items - donate them! ♻️
Your items will be used to help future students settle in!

✅ We are accepting:
👚 Items of clothing, including shoes
🍴 Kitchen items, such as cutlery and cooking appliances
🖼️ Clothes hangers and room decor
📚 Books

❌ We do not accept:
🛏️ Bedding and pillows
👙 Underwear and bathing suits
🍓 Fresh food
🔪 Sharp knives
