Lilly won silver in elite vault, then gold in elite artistic floor, elite a-bars, elite beam AND elite all around! 🥇🥇🥇🥇🥈

Stu won gold in advanced floor and advanced p-bars!🥇🥇

It is, very sadly, time for our final social of the year! However, I am very excited to announce that we saved the best for last and it will be a Subcrawl! Please meet in Beer Bar at the GUU at 7pm on Thursday 26th March. The route details of what subway stops and pubs we will be going to will be posted here in the Whatsapp next week, and there will be non-alcoholic and alcoholic drinks lists for those who wish to follow them. There is no theme for this one! Just wear whatever you’re comfortable in. Very excited to see everyone for one last social ☺️

It’s almost time to start thinking about our committee next year! In this post, we go into a bit of detail about what is expected of each role in our committee at the moment.

Our new members will be elected at our AGM/awards night social on the 23rd March (more details to follow soon!), so anyone who thinks they may be interested in running for committee should let Chloe know via whatsapp or at training before then - more details will be posted on the WhatsApp shortly!

We encourage everyone to consider running for a role - no committee, no club!

COMMONWEALTH GAMES SOCIAL🇨🇦🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿
Heya everyone, it’s time for our next social… The Commonwealth Games! To celebrate the commonwealth games coming to Glasgow this year, we’re doing a joint social with the trampoline club which will be games based on the 5th of March.
 
The idea of the night will be that everyone brings along their drink for the night and we will do drinking (and non-drinking) games such as boat races, some beer pong, and outdoor games too (weather dependant). If you don’t want to drink alcohol, just bring along a soft drink of your choice! As usual, we don’t want people to feel pressured to drink- alcohol or not makes no difference and it will be a relaxed evening filled with games and getting to know trampolining too.
 
The location is posted in the whatsapp and we will start at 7pm. We may head out in the West end after depending on how everyone feels. Please dress up appropriately as a commonwealth country (flags, wearing colours of flags etc.)!
 
Ps. We are currently lacking a TV at the flat so if anyone can source one there’s a wii so we can play games!

FLIP OUT SOCIAL🤸‍♂️🤸🏾
Hi guys, on 26th February, we have a joint social with Glasgow University Trampolining Club at ‘Flip Out’!
 
Everyone books their session separately, and we will be booking the 5pm ‘2 Hour off Peak Experience’ for £13. The address is 89a Southcroft Road, Rutherglen, Glasgow, G73 1UG. You will need to make your own way over, but is very accessible by bus, cycling and carshare too.
 
You need a pair of grippy socks, and it says on the website that you need to get flip out specific ones (can be purchased online or there), but if you already happen to have a pair I’d say bring them along anyway!

A little late - but here’s our recap of our first competition of the year (hosted by !!)

We’re so proud of everyone who participated - and thanks to all of the judges!

The next competition we’ll be attending will be SUGL’s Dundee competition on the 22nd February - full details are available on the Whatsapp announcements channel, but be quick - signups end tomorrow (!!!).

Hey it’s time for our next social/fundraiser which will be bingo!!
Our GUGC bingo night will be held on Monday the 9th of February at The Record Factory at 7:30pm, with the first round starting at 8pm sharp. Bingo cards will be £5 per person, with an additional optional bonus round costing £2 to enter. The event is open to non-members so hope to see you and all your friends there for the opportunity to win some fabulous (and silly) prizes! 🏆☺️
