The Stephen Young Institute for International Business is hosting: Water in the Forth Export Ecosystem: Future Scenarios 2050

Where: The Barracks, Stirling, FK8 1QZ
When: July 15, 9am-4.30pm

By 2050, global water demand could be more than double. The UK is not immune and may face a shortfall of nearly 5 billion litres of water per day.

For Scotland’s export sectors, water scarcity is both a strategic business risk and a shared sustainability challenge, increasing the potential of supply chain disruptions and resource insecurity.

If you are an organisation involved in Scotland’s export ecosystem around or impacting the River Forth then we invite you to take part in a collaborative workshop to:

Build resilience - by anticipating water risks and opportunities across operations and supply chains.
Shape Scotland’s policy and strategy - by contributing your sector’s voice to future water and trade priorities.
Co-create solutions- by developing practical strategies to drive sustainable international growth.
Drive innovation and efficiency - by exploring solutions to reduce water use, cut costs, and improve sustainability.
