🆕 Former Strathclyde Principal Professor Sir Jim McDonald has been appointed to the Order of the Thistle by the King – the highest honour in Scotland.

Three-time Strathclyde graduate and Emeritus Principal Sir Jim was recognised for his outstanding contribution to engineering and national life in Scotland.

🎊 Strathclyder Lyall Craig is set to represent Team Scotland in cycling at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow!

🎮 Strathclyde student D’arcy Dhanda has been shortlisted for a BAFTA Young Game Designers Award for his powerful video game that puts players in the shoes of a sweatshop worker in India.

First-year Computer and Information Sciences student D’arcy started work on his game ‘Maya’ whilst still at school, and hopes to continue developing it at Strathclyde.
