The Piping Group's first meet-up is Tuesday the 13th at 5pm in 14 University Gardens, Room 2🌟

The plan for our first meeting is to get to know each other, have a chat about what everyone is hoping to get out of the group, and hear what you’d like us to do together throughout the year. Bring all your ideas, we would love to hear them!

We will be having an Extraordinary General Meeting this Friday to discuss GUMC Early Music Ensemble - the Early Music Ensemble within GUMC and voting on its independence as a society!

Come along at 5-6pm on Friday the 9th at Boyd Orr 411 to vote and share your thoughts! Anyone can attend, however to vote you must have a GUMC membership. See you there👍

Join us for an evening of traditional Scottish music, dancing, and great company at our Ceilidh in the Dining Room, Glasgow University Union!

📅 Wednesday, 7th October
🕖 7:00-11:00 PM
📍 Dining Room, GUU

Whether you're a seasoned ceilidh dancer or have never tried one before, everyone is welcome! The talented Trad Group will be providing the live music, and we'll teach all the dances as we go, so no experience is needed.

Tickets will be available through the SRC website - search for 'Music Club' in the clubs & societies tab - £5 for members, £7 for non-members. Bring your friends, wear something comfortable to dance in, and come along for a fun evening while supporting the GUMC. We can't wait to see you there!
