📢 We’re BUZZING to announce our Skapade Workshops are BACK!

🎵 After 2 years of being closed down due to the pandemic, we’re absolutely delighted to be going back on the road in 2022!

🎧 The first of our ‘DJ Masterclass’ programmes kicks off in partnership with the mighty Prince's Trust Scotland and will be running in Glasgow, Edinburgh and Dundee in the coming months.

🏃 Our Glasgow workshop programme starts this coming Monday, 17th January 2022 and will be available to 16-30 year olds, in the Prince Trust city centre HQ and completely FREE of charge. There’s still a few spots left for those who are interested - hurry to grab your spot! 🏃

𝗖𝗹𝗼𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲: 𝟮𝗻𝗱 𝗢𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟬. We are delighted to announce we've been supported by The National Lottery Community Fund to continue our work and now have an opening for an Online Content Coordinator.
𝗝𝗢𝗕 𝗗𝗘𝗦𝗖𝗥𝗜𝗣𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡
The role will primarily be responsible for ensuring a consistent stream of online content, through the creation, editing and uploading of photography and filming across our website and social media platforms. Online podcast, online membership, community work and daily documenting of the studio activity.
𝗖𝗢𝗩𝗜𝗗 𝗦𝗨𝗣𝗣𝗢𝗥𝗧
The content created will also be aiming to support those at most risk of Covid-19 such as the unemployed, those isolated at home and those who have health/social problems preventing them from attending in-house learning sessions at the Studios.
𝗪𝗛𝗢 𝗪𝗘 𝗔𝗥𝗘 𝗟𝗢𝗢𝗞𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗙𝗢𝗥
The role requires proficient experience in both photography and filmography, as well as the ability and knowledge to edit and upload content. The candidate will be supported by an assistant as well as our highly experienced team.
We are a hugely positive studio, with a fun, relaxed but hard working environment. We’re looking to add an additional star to our team and will be searching for a positive, dedicated, talented individual to fill the vacancy.

🎥 Filmed in our famous SKapade Studios by our expert DJ team, these online courses are completely FREE to all and show you all you need to know, in bitesize chunks, to take your DJ skills from complete beginner, right through to advanced!

🎧 We created these courses to give young people across Scotland (who aren't currently in school or education due to Covid-19 pandemic), access to world class advice and training on the ever growing art of DJing! Our aim is to reduce feelings of loneliness, isolation and depression amongst our young people, and encourage positivity, at-home learning and provide engaging online content for all!

Last week our guys Reiss and Malc were back at YES Scotland for the first time this year, delivering a social media and DJing workshop! 📱💻🎧

These workshops are part of a longer project we have going with YES and offer essential and insightful knowledge about the Creative Industries to Glasgows youth! Well done troops! 🙌

What an amazing time we have had so far working with Impact Arts and the young people of Glasgow who show great enthusiasm to learn every single week!

From DJing and Production to Events Management and Flyer Design, we have passed on lots of invaluable knowledge and still have a few weeks together to polish off all our creations! Bring it on! 😀

SKapade Studios & Impact Arts have been working on a very special programme together & we are super excited by the results! Our amazing young people have been working on original music with the SKapade team & we can’t wait to hear it! 🎼
