From Glasgow 2026 to Amdavad 2030 🌍🏅

Last week Strathclyde’s Technology & Innovation Centre hosted the Amdavad Experience Centre, celebrating the handover between two Commonwealth Games host cities and bringing the colour, culture and spirit of Gujarat to Glasgow.

Here, Lata Desai, Chair of curating organisation .arts, reflects on the event, which welcomed Glaswegians, Commonwealth visitors, athletes and dignitaries into the TIC to enjoy:

🎓 Strathclyde is joint first in Scotland for positive graduate outcomes!

The latest HESA Graduate Outcomes results show 81% of our UK-domiciled, full-time first-degree graduates progressed to highly skilled employment or higher-level study.

The proportion of Strathclyde graduates in highly skilled employment increased to 78%, remaining above both the Scottish and UK averages.

That’s seven consecutive years of upper-quartile UK performance, and another strong result for our graduates, staff and partners.
