🏁Our training has now started for this academic year and or first weekend is coming up soon.

From navigation🗺️ to battlefield casualty drills🩹 (BCD), drill💂‍♀️ to weapons handling🔫 and section attacks; our green training is a core of our training calendar.

Helping to develop teamwork, resilience and leadership, you can’t get this training anywhere else while at uni.

🚶Ex Cambrian Patrol 2026 🥈

Our GSUOTC Cambrian Patrol team (Hotel One Three Golf) has got a well-earned silver medal on Exercise Cambrian Patrol. Brining together teams from across the British Army, NATO and across the world it is one of the most challenging opportunities that our officer cadets can take part in.

⬆️Our Ypres and Rhine Companies had their first drill night last night and so we are happy to introduce our Under Officer appointments for this year!

🔗They will help out with training and mentoring their companies as well as acting as a link to the staff.

Our last open night of freshers’ week is tonight but if you miss it it’s not too late to sign up to get more out of your time at university. If you are studying at any university in Glasgow you can come along University of Glasgow University of Strathclyde University of the West of Scotland (UWS) Royal Conservatoire of Scotland Glasgow Caledonian University

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 THE ROYAL MILITARY EDINBURGH TATTOO 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Over August, the CEUOTC Pipes and Drums combined with other Scottish UOTCs to perform in the 2026 Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo, led by CEUOTC PM Spencer-Jones.

The band performed for thousands of people every night alongside acts from all over the world.

The Royal Edinburgh Tattoo is the biggest show of its kind and has given our cadets greater confidence and experience in their ability to perform.

If you are a piper or drummer and want to get paid to have experiences such as this, then we would love for you to get in touch!
