Hello everyone and welcome to the Hartpury International Society!
This year we have a new
committee of international students that are willing and excited to take this society forward. As of now, we are three
Hartpury students from Spain and Thailand, our names are .chinpilas and , but we would love to have someone else on our committee to help us out with all the exciting things we are planning for this year, so let us know if you are interested!
Our aims for this society are:
1. Create an international community, where students can find advice and support. We know it can be very challenging and stressful moving to a new country and having to fill out loads of paperwork, especially now after Brexit, since regulations have changed. We are here to tell you about our experiences, listen to you and guide you as much as we can.
2. Give national students the option to gain advice on moving to other countries or working abroad. Everyone is more than welcome to join, even if you just want to learn about other countries and socialize!
3. Offer language lessons for all students, we have a range of international students willing to be tutors for a reasonable price. This will look great on your CV, if you want to be a tutor please let us know, but also you can never know enough languages, it will open many doors for you!
4. Socialise! We want everyone to feel welcome and give them a chance to get involved. We would love to organize themed nights, if you are feeling homesick you'll have the chance to share the music, food and customs of your culture with everyone, we are so interested in learning new things!

FOR ALL EU AND INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS
If anyone is interested in getting involved with the Intl Soc committee next year please contact us either on facebook or by emailing [email protected] directly. Since we are all leaving or stepping down, we need new people to take over. The current chair will still happily be involved with the society and help the new members. If nobody comes forward, unfortunately the society may not be carried on and that would be a terrible loss for the Hartpury community.
