We're looking for a highly organised, proactive, and detail-focused Operations Administrator to become a key part of our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys variety in their role.

As the link between our transport operation and office functions, you will play a vital role in ensuring our day-to-day activities run smoothly, efficiently, and professionally. You'll work closely with drivers, customers, suppliers, and colleagues, helping to deliver exceptional service while maintaining accurate records and administrative processes.

Key Responsibilities
Transport Coordination
Plan and coordinate daily transport schedules and delivery routes
Communicate effectively with drivers, customers, and suppliers to ensure timely and efficient deliveries
Monitor vehicle movements and resolve operational issues where required
Ensure all transport activities comply with company policies and relevant regulations
Maintain accurate transport records, documentation, and operational reports
Administration & Office Support
Provide comprehensive administrative support across the business
Manage data entry, filing, record keeping, and document control
Prepare reports and update operational databases
Handle incoming telephone calls, emails, and enquiries professionally and efficiently
Support internal teams with general office administration and coordination tasks
Assist with process improvements to enhance operational efficiency
What We're Looking For
Previous experience in an administrative, operations, logistics, or transport role
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Strong communication skills and a professional telephone manner
High attention to detail and accuracy
Confident using Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
A positive, proactive approach with strong problem-solving skills

We’re excited to welcome a new instructor starting next week, and we’re also waiting for clearance for another instructor to join the team. This means we’ll soon be able to help even more people achieve their LGV licences and start their careers in the transport industry! 👏
