Our two-year full-time programme is designed for committed and enthusiastic dancers who want to develop their performance, choreography and technical skills while preparing for university or a career within the dance industry. Students explore a variety of dance techniques, performance skills and choreography through exciting projects, live showcases and practical experiences.

We’re celebrating the fantastic achievement of work-experience students Lewis and Jack, whose heritage project with Stourbridge Glass Museum has led to a local bus stop being officially renamed “Glass Museums”!

The change will make it easier for visitors to find Stourbridge Glass Museum and the historic Red House Glass Cone, helping to improve access to the Glass Quarter.

It’s brilliant to see our students making a real difference in the local community through their work experience. Well done Lewis and Jack! 👏

Halesowen College’s Progress to A Level programme is designed to help school leavers grow in confidence, strengthen their grades and achieve their next step towards ambition and success.

If you achieved GCSE grade 4s, including English and Maths, this programme will give you a springboard to build your academic skills and prepare you for higher level study with us.

We have two fantastic pathways to choose from that allow you to develop a strong foundation for future study, leading to exciting career opportunities and progression into the subjects and industries that interest you most.

Choose from:
STEM Pathway — including English, Maths and Sciences
Arts Pathway — including English, Maths, Combined Science and AS Film/Media Studies

With our Progress to A Level programme you can:
Develop your knowledge through higher level GCSE study.
Experience Level 3 learning through an AS Level or equivalent qualification.
Build the knowledge, confidence and study skills you need to progress onto a full A Level pathway, T Levels or other higher-level study.
