It serves as a major study abroad site for the University of Evansville (Indiana, USA) and for students from other American colleges and universities. Our home is Harlaxton Manor, one of England’s finest Grade I listed country houses, situated in the East Midlands within 117 acres of beautiful gardens, park, and woodland.

It was fantastic to welcome students from Harlaxton College yesterday as they explored the theme of leadership.

Our volunteer Bruce, pictured in the centre of the photo, was on hand to give a fascinating introduction to some of Grantham’s historic leaders and the impact they had on the town’s history.

For the final House Competition the spring 2026 students competed in a very heated lip sync battle!

Judged by a panel of experts (faculty and families), the students performed everything from Michael Jackson to Bruno Mars. There was dancing, laughs, and even a proposal?

This competition was one of the final opportunities for the houses to win points and solidify their grip on the Key to the Manor!

For the final Photo of the Week, the winner is Andrew!

This weekend, he traveled to London, Bath, Oxford, and Lincoln. To finish the weekend off, Andrew ran the Lincoln 10K!

Andrew said that because he hasn't been running frequently while at Harlaxton, his goal time was to finish the race in under an hour. He was proud to share that he finished in 57:57! He also said that "the race ended at Lincoln Cathedral, which was an exciting finish line and an amazing sight!"

Congratulations Andrew on your finish, and for winning 20 House Points for Gregory!

One of the most picturesque trips of the semester is to the Lake District!

On this trip, students in the spring 2026 cohort took a journey on a steam train, experienced the lake via ferry, and got to visit Wray Castle!

This week's winner is Annabeth! This past week she traveled to Belfast, Northern Ireland where she rode the pink double-decker bus! She said she "just had to do an MJ pose in honor of the new movie coming out soon!"

It's time for an update on our House Competitions!

Over the last several weeks the spring 2026 students have competed for House Points in a Murder Mystery challenge and British Kickball. Take a look to see which House is in the lead!

With only two weeks left in the semester the time is closing in to award the Key to the Manor!

Harlaxton students took to the gardens this week for an Easter egg hunt! The students searched for 100 eggs to win candy and coveted House Points.

Happy Saturday! It's time to see this week's Photo of the Week!

This week's winner is Micaela, who traveled to Edinburgh this week.

Micaela and her friends Cole and Tyler hiked up a rocky hill. She said "it was so windy, we thought we were going to blow off a couple of times, but they were rewarded with this amazing view of Edinburgh from Arthur's Seat!"

One of the favorite trips of the semester is to North Wales.

On this trip, the spring 2026 students and faculty were able to see castles, waterfalls, and the highlight of the trip, ride the Fforest coaster!

It's Saturday which means it's time to see this week's Photo of the Week!

This week's winner is Olivia! She visited Stonehenge last weekend, which she said "was a dream she's had since she was a kid!"

We also have a runner up photo, submitted by Haley. She visited the Cliffs of Moher in Ireland over St. Patrick's Day. Though the day started off rainy, but Haley said the "sun broke through and revealed the most beautiful rainbow!"

The weather was nice and sunny for the annual Lamb day at Harlaxton!

There's nothing quite like this tradition, which gives students and faculty the opportunity to take a break from the classroom and enjoy the afternoon with these fluffy visitors!
