These degrees equip students with the high level of skills needed to succeed in today’s animation industry. It emphasizes creativity, character design, story, cinematography, VFX and compositing 3D and Games Art; all channelled through the advanced software skills needed to achieve inventive and engaging animation. These programmes develop digital modelling and character animation skills, virtual

lighting and virtual camera work, exposing students to the latest professional 3D animation practices. The students create short animated final films or fully playable games levels. Employment opportunities include computer animation companies, work with games, TV and film special effects companies. Our graduated students work and freelance with some of the world’s best known production and post production houses. Situated in central Hertfordshire, North London, we are able to provide excellent learning facilities in a custom-built building featuring the latest software and up-to-date hardware; and through experienced lecturers from a variety of fields. Hey yall! Hope you have been surviving this heatwave this past week!

We are back at it again with another highlighting a beautiful Character Brief assignment from Semester A by a 3D Animation & VFX first year, Maja Rembowska ! Here is their depiction of Feruzi, a tree-sized Pangean Shaman! Wow!! Your attention to detail is phenomenal, alongside your texturing and brush strokes! Make sure yall keep sketching and painting over the summer! You may be assigned to design characters traditionally in first year and NO DIGITAL! ;) 🖌🎨

Hi everyone!! In today's we are showing an incredible city street submission based on Mumbai from a 2D animation student from first year, Ovie Walawalkar! If you're an applicant/soon to be first year, watch out for that city street assignment first thing! 👀

'Digital perspective street concept painting of Mumbai in the 1995. To capture the ornate against the mundane, I chose the neo-gothic windows of the Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Railway Station with street vendors in front.'

Highlighting today's we look at a fantastic After Effect assignment done by second year in the 2D Animation pathway! Based on the novel, 'Omniscent Reader's Viewpoint', second years have to create a trailer for a book, videogame or film for their Semester A brief! Beautiful work!!! 💜🙌

As we come to the end of year, we celebrate the Degree Show consisting of many of our Creative Art students, held in the Todd Building! You can come meet the filmmakers, network and look at their thesis films that they have worked so hard on until Saturday 16th!
