At the beginning of August, the Engineering Class of 1976 celebrated their 50-year anniversary by reuniting on College Lane campus at the University of Hertfordshire. 😮

Classmates travelled from all over the UK and abroad including The Philippines, USA and Cornwall. They toured around the campus, checking out our latest facilities like the SPECTRA building, as well as reminiscing memories of old events and lectures.

Thank you for coming everyone. You truly make us proud, from the days of Hatfield Polytechnic to now 💜

From student to lecturer 🎓🎉

Meet Louise, Senior Lecturer in Therapeutic Radiography at the University of Hertfordshire.

Having studied Therapeutic Radiography at Herts herself, Louise brings a unique perspective to her teaching, understanding first-hand what it’s like to be a student on the programme.

Alongside teaching, Louise continues to work in clinical practice three days a week. This means she gets to support students throughout their journey, from developing their academic knowledge to seeing them grow into confident healthcare professionals in the hospital setting.
