a Herts alumnus was one of the amazing speakers at this year's Ideas Fest also known as the Glastonbury for Business? 😮

Global entrepreneur, Co-founder and CEO of leading sneaker care brand Crep Protect and Class of 2009 graduate, Nohman Ahmed shared his top advice for anyone starting a business. 👟

Nohman also won the "Business Innovation Award" at this year's Alumni Awards at Herts being recognised for his exceptional entrepreneurship. 🏆

🏉 With the Women’s Rugby World Cup underway, we’re celebrating one of our incredible alumnae who’s breaking barriers in the sport!

Nicknamed The Bulldozer, Herts alumna Zainab Alema made history as the first player to compete in Premiership Women’s Rugby wearing a hijab. Smashing stereotypes and inspiring the next generation, she continues to pave the way for young athletes everywhere. 💪🏾

👏 Congratulations to Herts alum Jemma Varela, who has been awarded the King’s Ambulance Service Medal in the King’s Birthday Honours, recognising 25 years of outstanding service in pre-hospital care.

Jemma has been recognised for her exceptional leadership and clinical excellence and now heads up clinical operations at the East of England Ambulance Service.

A huge congratulations to Herts alumnus Kyri Zindilis, who has won a BAFTA for Best Soap as part of the senior creative team behind EastEnders! 👏

Kyri was one of just six team members to be personally awarded the BAFTA, recognised for his key role as Story Producer on the show.

"It was a joy to study at the University of Hertfordshire, and my BA (Hons) Film & TV Production course allowed me to develop and hone my skills within all areas of the filmmaking process. I feel it gave me a real taste of which area of the Film and TV industry I wanted to work in, and also gave me the opportunity to make some creative and talented friends for life."
