🏗️ A big thank you to Andrew Scott Ltd Construction for speaking to our Level 3 Construction Management learners.

The team delivered an insightful session on careers within the construction industry, as well as the importance of sustainability and environmental responsibility in the sector.

Special thanks to Archi, Lewis and Amanda for joining us, and for their generous donation of notepads and pens for learners across the Built Environment faculty.

It was a fantastic opportunity for our learners to hear directly from industry professionals and gain a deeper understanding of career opportunities within the sector. 👏

🥾 Well done to A Level students Catrin, Mati and Julia, who successfully completed their Qualifying Bronze Expedition this weekend between Trefin and Goodwick, exploring the byways of Strumble Head. Completion of the expedition marks the final step in achieving their Bronze Duke of Edinburgh's Awards. They were joined by A***n from Engineering and HHVC School pupils Ffion and Zach, who all successfully completed their practice expedition.

Congratulations to everyone involved. We're incredibly proud of you all! 👏☀️

🏉⚽ A huge congratulations to our Sports Academy teams following two impressive performances recently!

Our Rugby Team secured a fantastic 45-14 victory over Queen Elizabeth High School Sixth Form. The result, recorded in the West Wales Premiership 2, showcased outstanding teamwork, attacking flair and determination throughout the match. 💪

Meanwhile, our Ladies Academy Football Team put in an excellent display against Coleg Sir Gar in a thrilling and high-scoring performance. Although the match ended in an 11-9 defeat, the squad demonstrated incredible resilience, skill and attacking quality from start to finish. 👏

Both performances reflect the talent, dedication and commitment of our learners and coaching staff, and highlight the exciting opportunities available through our Sports Academy programmes.

🏎️ What does it take to turn a passion into a career with Oracle Red Bull Racing?

Our learners found out when former student and Engineering tutor Reuben Whitehead returned to the College to talk about his journey from studying Enhanced Mechanical Engineering to working as an Electronics Production Planning Student with Oracle Red Bull Racing.

Sharing the highs, challenges and opportunities along the way, Reuben gave learners a behind-the-scenes look at the determination and commitment needed to pursue a career in a highly competitive industry.

Learners also had the opportunity to see Max Verstappen's racing suit up close, bringing an extra touch of Formula 1 excitement to the visit!

The Torch has landed 🎉

Take a look behind the scenes of our World Skills UK Torch Relay at Pembrokeshire College!

Our marketing team were out in force capturing inspiring video content to mark the special occasion, celebrating World Skills UK and all Pembrokeshire College has achieved.

The visit brought staff, learners and our wider community together to celebrate Team Wales, and we're cheering on our learners as they prepare for the WSUK National Finals!

A huge thank you to the Year 6 pupils and staff from Mary Immaculate Catholic Primary School for joining us. They got creative in the kitchen making crepes and cookies and were thrilled to be part of the excitement of the carrying of the torch!

A special well done to Otis, who proudly carried the torch on behalf of the College, and thank you to everyone who helped make the day so memorable. 👏
