On Monday, we celebrated the talented students who took part in the Riverside Counselling Service Logo Competition at our awards ceremony!

Congratulations to our winner, Mio A'Court, whose fantastic design will now be developed by Ben at in8 and become the new logo for Riverside - a charity established in 1989, that delivers counselling and psychotherapy to people aged over 12 in Henley-on-Thames, Wallingford and the surrounding areas.

A huge well done also to our runners-up, Grace Brown and Erin Moses, and to every student who entered the competition. We were incredibly impressed by the creativity and effort shown by all participants.

Not content with simply answering interview questions, the group decided to go for the full professional experience and turned up dressed for success! 🌟

Activities like this help students build confidence, develop employability skills and prepare for the world of work.

πŸ‘ Congratulations to Performing Arts student Leyla-Joy Thea Rathbone for her involvement in Redirect, a powerful music video collaboration between Wycombe Youth Action and Love Music Hate Violence. Alongside fellow Performing Arts students, Leyla helped use creativity, performance and storytelling to spread awareness about knife crime and promote positive choices for young people. We’re incredibly proud to see our students using the arts to make a real impact in their community. 🎢🎬

The Henley college Dance Show is a huge highlight of the college year and we are back on SATURDAY 27th JUNE FOR ONE SHOW ONLY!πŸ‘€

"I loved students’ dance show so much I wish I could watch it again" - The Henley Standard

"A super-charged show; there was never a dull moment." - The Henley Standard

The Henley College Dance Company are proud to present Echoes - a powerful contemporary dance piece that explores memory, connection, and the traces people leave behind.

Through expressive choreography, and layered soundscapes, the dancers bring to life the idea that past experiences continue to shape the present. The choreography blends strength and vulnerability, creating a visceral journey for the audience. Echoes invites viewers to reflect on their own stories and the invisible threads that connect people across time, leaving a lasting impression long after the performance ends and revealing how identity is continuously shaped by the echoes of the past.

Featuring 45 students from across Dance and Performing Arts our final show of the year promises to be the perfect finale to an amazing year of performances. Tickets are selling fast so be sure to get yours now!✨️

More Freedom, More Flexibility, More Choice: New Transport Options for 2026–27

We are delighted to announce a major enhancement to student travel for the 2026–27 academic year.

Working in partnership with Carousel Buses, we are introducing an exciting range of new and expanded transport options designed to provide greater flexibility, improved connectivity and more travel opportunities for students across the region.

Unlike traditional college coach services, students will benefit from access to regular public bus services operating throughout the day, during evenings and at weekends. This gives students the freedom to travel more flexibly around their studies, making it easier to take part in enrichment activities, social events, part-time employment, work experience and independent travel.

The expanded network will also improve access to the college from a wider range of towns and villages, supporting greater choice for prospective students and families across the Thames Valley.

We are currently finalising route details, timetables and travel information, which will be published shortly.

To help students and parents plan ahead, information on travelling to Henley-on-Thames from local towns and villages can be found on our website.
