It’s Top Tip Tuesday!!🤩✨

This Weeks Top Tip: Staying Connected Back Home!🫂💙

It can be quite hard to be far away from friends and family back home. For some, this is the first time not seeing family everyday, once a week, or even once a month. This transition might be scary, but our students have some tips to help you out!🥳

💙 Have intentional and dedicated times to call or FaceTime your family and friends that work with the time difference

💙 Send letters or postcards back and forth

💙 Call home! It might seem simple, but it helps a lot

💙 Lean on your friends! Spend time with them, introduce your culture to them, make things that remind you of home with the people you surround yourself with here in York

You also always have us if you’re missing home!💙🫂✨

We hope you have all enjoyed your first few weeks of the semester!

If you are looking for a great way to take a break, we recommend going for a walk around campus to see if you can spot some of the many amazing birds in the area.

Keep your eyes on the skies too! You will be more likely to spot flocks of birds over the next couple of months because many species begin their winter migration this month.

has captured all of these photos right here on Campus!

Which one is your favourite? 🍂
