The proposed use of land between manor park and Guided Busway was refused because of objections from nearby residents unfortunately. So at this time there has sadly been very little progression over the last two years. There are a number of councillors that have been supporting efforts for a skatepark in the village, however we need a fresh group of volunteers willing to take the reigns up on this campaign because our current team are off to University in the coming academic year. Any of you interested please get in touch by responding on here and we can pass on contacts etc. the commitment required is not massive but it is very much so crucial to the progress. We have had 33 new 'page likes' in the last week alone so there is evidently interest, want and need for this facility as our village population and size is increasing. Cheers, Admin.
