What a fantastic day at Worcester Lakeside Campus! 🌊☀️
Today we welcomed the lovely Earl Mortimer Year 8 students, and what a pleasure it was to have them with us. They got stuck into a range of exciting activities, including raft building, stand-up paddleboarding, and kayaking — and brought plenty of enthusiasm and energy along the way!
We loved hosting you all and hope you had as much fun as we did. We look forward to seeing you again soon! 🚣‍♀️

The dream weeding team were back at it again today! A huge thank you to Jake, Elijah and Natasha for their incredibly hard work and dedication in continuing to clear and care for the lake. 👏💪

Your efforts are making a real difference—keep up the fantastic work! 🌊✨

Lots of hard work happening behind the scenes in the office as we prepare for upcoming groups, holiday clubs, staffing, scheduling, and programmes.

💦 Lakeside Campus Staff Training Day 💦

Today our team got stuck into a full-on water skills training session to ensure we’re ready for anything the season brings!

🚣 We covered craft rescues across canoe, kayak and SUP

🌊 Practised in-water rescues for raft building and free swim/jetty jump activities

🏊 Put our team through their paces with timed swims to ensure our Open Water Lifeguards are fit, confident and prepared for all eventualities.

We also refreshed CPR.

A fantastic day of learning, teamwork and pushing skills to the next level – all to keep our students safe while making the most of everything Lakeside has to offer.

🌿☀️ A busy and brilliant day on site!
Our instructor has been hard at work throughout the day, weeding and dosing the lake to get everything ready for open water swimming 🏊‍♂️💧

This evening, we were delighted to welcome the fantastic RGS cadets, who took on stand up paddle boarding. As always, they brought great energy – such a confident, fun group to have around! 🙌

We also had Wye Forest Scouts join us for a raft building session 🚣‍♀️ They all got completely stuck in and produced some impressively sturdy rafts – teamwork at its best! 💪

Another great day of learning, laughter, and outdoor adventure 🌲✨

Every child deserves to enjoy water safely. 💙

We're supporting , the national water safety campaign by Royal Life Saving Society UK - RLSS UK, working to prevent drowning through education and awareness.

The Water Safety Code;

Stop & Think 🧠
Spot the dangers — cold water, currents, depth, weather, and hidden hazards.

Stay Together 🤝
Never swim alone. Always keep children within arm’s reach.

Float 🌊
If you fall in, fight the instinct to swim. Lie back, spread your arms and legs, and float.

Call 999 📞
In an emergency, call 999 and ask for the Coastguard (at the coast) or Fire & Rescue (inland).
