A rare quiet one here at Worcester Lakeside Campus today, giving us the perfect opportunity to get everything ready for our upcoming staff induction day.
We still welcomed the PaddleSport SU Club for a Stand-Up Paddleboarding session on the lake. A big thank you to Aidan for leading the session and getting everyone out on the water!

Our SLT team have been out in the beautiful woods at Bishops Wood Centre today, learning new skills and developing our shelter building and firelighting so that we can pass on what we’ve learned to our incredible instructor team.
We’ve built shelters, both natural and with tarpaulins, started and maintained five minute fires, and followed all the principles of leave no trace, an important part of any outdoors activity!! We can’t wait to be back for our second day, and a massive thank you for the team for having us☺️☺️

What a fantastic day at Worcester University Lakeside Campus! 🌿🧭

Today we welcomed our enthusiastic first-year Midwifery students, who arrived full of energy and excitement. Their enthusiasm shone through as they threw themselves into a range of activities, including Bushcraft, Team Challenges, and Orienteering.

From problem-solving and teamwork to navigating their way around the site, the students gave 100% throughout the day. It was great to see so much determination, laughter, and support for one another.

Thank you for joining us, and we hope to see you back at Lakeside again soon! 👏
