Tomorrow is your LAST CHANCE to vote for next years SU officers! One of our committee members is running for the activities position and we as a society fully endorse her. She founded this society in order to give all PGR’s the opportunity to meet new people and get involved in activities in what can be a very lonely degree. One of her aims specifically tackles the lack of opportunities postgraduate students have to participate in activities across university and this means a lot to our society! It takes seconds to vote and by making Mia your first choice you will be ensuring our next cohort of postgrads will have an amazing university experience and access to a wealth of opportunities! The committee have made their endorsement decisions for Elections 2023/24!

We’re really excited to be endorsing our committee member, Mia, for the activities officer position! Her fifth aim is about improving postgraduate engagement which we think is really important for our society!

We’re so pleased to announce that we’ve been awarded Academic Society of the Month for January!

The PGR showcase is an opportunity to present your research and work in front of other researchers and staff in the school of Arts and Humanities.

The length of your presentation will depend on how many presenters we have. Register your interest by midday on 19th February! No abstracts are required!

Our next event is our PGR Breakfast on Monday 30th January at the Toast House!

Coming back to campus after the Christmas break can be quite stressful so join us for a cup of tea and a spot of breakfast and chat about your research. This is an opportunity to check up on your friends and their wellbeing but also to network.

Catering will be provided but please book your place on the su website to ensure you get some breakfast!
